Our Welfare Activities
Educational Empowerment for Visually Challenged Students & Children of the Blind
To promote the education of the blind in the light of modern and practicable concepts. We provide educational
support for visually challenged students & children of the blinds. We distribute Schools / College curriculum to
all the children’s of our poor blind brothers & sisters.
Medical Support
Millions and billions of people in developing countries get blind due to lack of basic treatment, Due to lack of simple
surgery. If such patient or their family members requires treatment or any kind of major surgery on an emergency basis.
We help them by referring them to the Municipal or Private Hospital and provide needful Medicines& Operations fees for
them.
Food Grains Distribution
The Visually Impaired people live below the poverty line. They find it difficult to purchase rations with their small income.
So on the 28th day of every month, we distribute dry ration to our blind member’s including widows of the blind.
Folding Sticks Distribution
We distribute folding stick, Trice a year. As, Folding Stick is the eye of a Blind person. And it is their friend for life.
Distribution Of Clothes and Bed Sheets
Due to their less earnings. The visually impaired People cannot afford to purchase new clothes for them and their family
members, especially on the time of occasions. By taking care of this our organization provides simple apparels like Pant,
Shirt, Sarees, and Children Dress etc. Especially on occasions like Diwali, Eid-Ul-Fitar, Christmas and at the time of
wedding of blinds or poor children’s. We also provide them Blanket& bed sheets once in a year.
Self-Employment Assistance Without Any Paybacks
Mostly Visual impaired people wish to be self employed. For earning their daily butter and bread by caning, tailoring,
making agarbatties, candles, plastic flowers etc. and many of our blind members are hawkers. We help them by
understanding their problem and by also providing necessary financial support to improve and utilize their resources in an
effective way on non refundable basis
Financial Help For Renovation
Most of blind people live in rural and slum areas. Due to deteriorating Conditions of their houses, they meet many
difficulties during rainy season. Challenges such as Overflowing of water, Leakages from ceiling, etc. In their Houses and
PCO Booths. We assist them by using our limited funds for repairing of their houses and PCO Booths, We get it done
Charity Programs
We Conduct meetings and have special programs for blind people. To provide them needful assistance and instructing
them How to behave like an ideal person in the society. We also inform them about future savings. We organize charitable
Programs and get-together every quarterly. In these Programs, we distribute different amenities to our members in the
presence of honorable guest who belong to different walks of life.
